Full Eclipse Integration
|
iSpectrum is fully integrated within Eclipse as a plug'in. Steps to use iSpectrum are quite simple : Install iSpectrum Plug'in in your Eclipse; activate the compiler using an iSpectrum license key and start developing in Java your iPhone application. When compiling the application, iSpectrum generates ObjectiveC files and is using the official Apple's iPhone SDK to generate the binary of the application. To simplify this step, iSpectrum manages automatically the management of XCode toolchain. |
Java programming and debugging
| More than providing you a way to develop in Java your iPhone applications, iSpectrum enablesyou to debug in Java within your Eclipse your iPhone application. This debug step is done at full application speed without instrumentations. Set breakpoints, introspect Java stack, access your Java fields,... That's a kind of magic, but it's real! |
